On February 3, an agreement between the international exhibition «NEVA» and the largest exhibition in Southern Europe «Navalia» was signed

The document was signed by the director of the Navalia exhibition Mr. Javier Arno and the deputy general director of NEVA Exhibition Mr. Andrey Vasilchenko. The parties agreed to work together to promote the shipbuilding industries of the two countries. 

For the first time the ceremony was held online with the participation of the Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Galicia (Spain) Mr. Pedro Mourinho with participation of the largest regional media: TELE Vigo, Television de Galicia. 

At a press conference on the occasion of the signing of the international agreement, Mr. Andrey Vasilchenko, Deputy General Director of NEVA exhibition, noted that both exhibitions are global platforms for the development of the shipbuilding industries in their countries and have great prospects, working in close cooperation, to strengthen partnerships between Russian and Spanish companies. 

Navalia exhibition director Mr. Javier Arno said that, according to surveys of Spanish shipbuilding companies and ports, Russia is in the TOP-3 countries, priority for the development of cooperation, and the signing of the agreement is the first real step towards joint work of the two largest exhibitions in Spain and Russia. For his part, he offered to organize a visit of Russian business circles to Spain, hold presentations and workshops of Russian companies in Galicia and facilitate targeted negotiations between Russian and Spanish companies. 

Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Galicia (Spain) Mr. Pedro Mourinho made the analysis of Russian-Spanish cooperation in the field of shipbuilding and noted the great interest of Galicia companies in the Russian market, especially in the field of small-crafted shipbuilding, tug boats, fishing fleets, cargo ships and offshore platforms.
