Lena United River Shipping Company CEO to Join NEVA 2027 Organising Committee

08/27/2026

Sergey Larionov, Director General of Lena United River Shipping Company (LORP), will join the Organising Committee of NEVA 2027.

Lena United River Shipping Company is a flagship operator in Yakutia’s inland water transport sector and one of the leading transport and industrial enterprises in north-eastern Russia. As a major carrier on the Northern Sea Route section between Khatanga Bay and Pevek, LORP plays an important role in delivering essential cargoes to Arctic and western areas of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

Using river-sea vessels, the company transports petroleum products in bulk, general cargo and other freight to four Russian regions: the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Irkutsk Region, Krasnoyarsk Territory and Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.

Arctic issues are traditionally among the central themes of NEVA’s exhibition and business programme, and 2027 will be no exception. Alongside the construction of icebreaker fleets and efforts to increase capacity and throughput at Russia’s northern ports through modern environmental solutions, NEVA 2027 will address the development of Arctic inland waterways — the Lena, Yenisei and Ob rivers — to strengthen the Northern Supply Delivery system.

Why it matters for international participants: NEVA 2027 will bring together expertise in Arctic logistics, river-sea shipping, northern supply chains and sustainable development of inland waterways.
