Meeting with the Malaysian Trade Mission: a step towards international cooperation

A working meeting was recently held between the Head of the Foreign Clients Department Daria Dzyubenko and the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Malaysia Andrey Vladimirovich Kuznetsov. The agenda included a discussion of the prospects for cooperation between Russia and Malaysia in the field of shipbuilding.

Malaysia, with more than 2 000 shipyards, occupies a significant place in the international shipbuilding arena, opening up broad horizons for cooperation.

During the meeting, important agreements were reached on the support of the Malaysian Trade Mission for the NEVA 2025 exhibition. They also discussed assistance in attracting companies from Malaysia working in shipbuilding, shipping and related industries, which will create unique opportunities for exchanging experience and establishing new business contacts.

To date, several large shipbuilding companies have already expressed interest in participating in the NEVA 2025 exhibition and conference. This year, the event will host delegations from Malaysia and Brunei for the first time, which will certainly be an important step towards deepening international cooperation.
