Alexander Ulyanov, Director General of Nevainter LLC, met with an official delegation from the Republic of India and invited its representatives to take part in NEVA 2027.
The delegation was led by Mr. S. Venkatesapati, Joint Secretary at India’s Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. It also included representatives of Chennai Port Authority, the Directorate General of Shipping, the National Security Council Secretariat, the Embassy of India in the Russian Federation and India’s Ministry of External Affairs.
The meeting took place in Rosatom’s meeting area during the 4th Arctic Regions Forum, whose business programme is organised by Nevainter LLC. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation between India and Russia’s Arctic regions, including in shipbuilding and ship repair.
Following the meeting, Alexander Ulyanov invited the delegation to attend the International Maritime Exhibition and Conference NEVA 2027, a major maritime industry event in Russia, taking place in St. Petersburg on 21–24 September 2027.
The Indian delegation expressed interest in expanding cooperation on Arctic matters, thanked the meeting organisers for the invitation and hospitality, and confirmed its intention to continue the dialogue at NEVA 2027.
