09/03/2026

On 2 September 2026, the leadership team of VALCOM hosted representatives of the International Maritime Exhibition and Conference NEVA at the company’s site in St. Petersburg.

VALCOM is a Russian developer of sensors, automation components and automation systems for the maritime industry. A regular NEVA exhibitor for many years, the company consistently demonstrates its position as one of the sector’s technology leaders.

Alexander Demchenko, Director General of VALCOM, personally led a tour of the facility. The NEVA delegation visited the production workshops, saw modern equipment and clean-room facilities used to manufacture high-precision microelectronic components.

The team was also introduced to VALCOM’s key developments, including a marine power-plant control unit and a robotic production line for pressure-sensor sensitive elements. These components are manufactured entirely in-house, from microcrystal to finished product.

The meeting was attended by:

VALCOM:

Alexander Demchenko, Director General;

Evgeny Kolmogortsev, Deputy Director General.

NEVA:

Alexander Ulyanov, Director General;

Andrey Vasilchenko, Deputy Director General;

Vladimir Vorotyntsev, Development Director.

The parties discussed VALCOM’s participation in NEVA 2027. Next year, the company will celebrate its 30th anniversary, and a series of special anniversary events is planned during the Exhibition.

They also agreed to organise business visits to VALCOM’s production facilities for NEVA 2027 attendees, offering industry professionals a first-hand look at how high-technology solutions for shipbuilding are developed and manufactured.

VALCOM will present its products and developments at its stand in Pavilion F, located on the central exhibition aisle.

Why it matters for international participants: Visitors will be able to explore Russian-made marine automation, sensor and microelectronics solutions, as well as take part in proposed technical visits to an advanced manufacturing facility.
