08/29/2026

Vladimir Panov, Special Representative of Rosatom State Corporation for Arctic Development, has confirmed his participation in the Organising Committee of NEVA 2027.

As a member of the Organising Committee, he will represent both Rosatom and the State Commission for Arctic Development, where he serves as Deputy Chair.

One of the central Arctic themes at NEVA 2027 will be the updated strategy for the development of the Russian Arctic Zone, together with an associated integrated development project for the Arctic and the Trans-Arctic Transport Corridor. The project is currently being prepared in accordance with an instruction from the President of the Russian Federation and is expected to be presented within the next two to three months.

The integrated development project is being prepared by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic together with Vostokgosplan, with the participation of relevant federal executive authorities, the State Council Commission on the Northern Sea Route and the Arctic, Rosatom and other specialised organisations.

Why it matters for international participants: NEVA 2027 will offer a platform to follow developments in Arctic transport planning and explore opportunities for dialogue on infrastructure, shipping and logistics in the region.
