Varsa Shipping has confirmed its participation in NEVA 2021, the XVI International Specialized Exhibition and Conference for Commercial Shipping, Shipbuilding, Offshore Energy, Ports, Inland Waterways and Oceanography, which will be held in St. Petersburg on September 21–24, 2021 with the support of the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation, the Maritime Board under the Government of the Russian Federation, industry unions and associations.
The company was founded in 1992 and is based in the city of Varna. It provides ship repair, modernization, survey and consulting services.
Since its establishment, Varsa Shipping has repaired and modernized over 200 vessels, mainly tankers for river-sea navigation. The repairs are carried out using highly efficient modern methods that promote high quality and extend the service life of repaired or upgraded craft. In recent years, the company has developed new competencies in the repair of specialized research vessels with high-tech equipment. A large number of additional works are performed to prepare vessels of this type for scientific expeditions. The company’s ship repair activities also include restoration of ship equipment operability, as well as aggregate replacement of mechanisms.
